Skincare Secrets for ANY Skin Type
Sometimes it's hard to determine what skin type you have, but with this easy guide you will not only know your skin type but you’ll be able to pick the best natural skincare products for YOU!
Do you have tight or itchy skin? Do you find it is flakey or wrinkled? Then it sounds like you have DRY Skin. Dry skin is common for more mature or dehydrated skin, and you need to choose the right cosmetics and beauty products which re-hydrate without causing oily skin.
If you have dry skin:
-
Avoid contact with detergents
-
Do not use soaps to clean your skin
-
A day and night cream should be used. Try Nude by Nature’s 24 Hour Anti-Aging Moisturiser
-
Use a cleansing cream or milk to clean face rather than soaps
-
Use oils like Nude by Nature’s Nude Oil
-
Stay away from sun and keep out of the wind
If your skin is prone to blackheads and acne then you have OILY Skin.
If your skin is oily:
-
Use body scrubs to remove excess oil from the entire body such as Nude by Nature's Exfoliating Scrub
-
Try face masks to tighten the skin and improve blood circulation
-
Use light, natural moisturisers like Nude by Nature’s Oil-Free Lotion
-
Avoid touching your skin throughout the day
-
Use astringents such as Nude by Nature’s Pore Refining Toner to refresh your skin after a wash
-
You have to be careful not to clog pores, and you really should use only natural cosmetics. Mineral make-up, particularly Nude by Nature's Mineral Powder Foundation, will actually help to draw out the impurities as it acts as a face mask.
If your skin is a blend of both oily and dry (oily in the t-zone such as nose, forehead and chin but dry on the cheeks, eyes etc) then you have Combination Skin.

If you have combination skin:
-
Do not use soap, use a cleanser such as Nude by Natures Anti-Oxidant Foaming Cleanser
-
Remove all make-up before bed with a natural makeup remover rather than ordinary harsh removers. Try Nude by Nature’s Eye and Face Makeup Remover.
-
Use a toner and moisturise daily. Use a natural moisturiser designed for combination skin so you don't inject too much moisture into the skin - but don't deprive yourself of it either.
Have you been using the right product for you? Follow this guide and your skin will be healthier than ever!
